Recover Mouth — Office / Gambling Den Walkthrough

The short version

The Mouth sense is recovered in the Office / Gambling Den, reached by going down from Green Hills and through a stone door. The area is built around earning currency, solving switch and lever puzzles, and a sound-based "Help Me Talk" puzzle.

This is one of three sense-recovery areas. You can do Mouth, Eyes, and Hands in any order from the Green Hills hub.

Step 1: reach the Office

From Green Hills, go down and take a left through the automatically opening stone door. Ride the train and continue through the doors ahead. A green scanner reads your currency total (it starts at 0) and opens the next door.

Step 2: build currency

Inside, use any of the three interactables — a hamster wheel, checked buttons, or a hanging button — to build up credits. You need enough to pass the paywall and progress. Earn a little, then scan yourself at the left door to move deeper.

Step 3: the three-level room

Past the scanner there are three levels:

• a middle floor with a vending machine,
• stairs up, and
• stairs down (an outdoor area with six colored switches).

Step 4: the six-switch puzzle (verified)

The outdoor area has six colored switches linked together; you must get them all on at the same time. A verified solution path:

1. Get every switch OFF except Yellow.
2. Turn Yellow OFF.
3. Turn Dark Blue ON.
4. Turn Light Blue ON.
5. Turn Purple ON.
6. Turn Red ON.

The right-side door then opens.

Step 5: the "Help Me Talk" puzzle

Through that door, pedal a cycler (alternating A/D) to the bottom, then enter a room with floor buttons that each make a different sound. The goal is to make the sentence "Help Me Talk". Solving it opens two side doors and completes the Mouth recovery.

After Mouth

Return to Green Hills and pick another sense — Eyes in Timesville or Hands in the Circus. When all three are done, the three major chapters open (see the full walkthrough overview).
